Music for the quarantined soul
A podcast hosted by Clifton Flett and Cam Bennet, 2 music aficionados from Dauphin, Manitoba. This was born out of the Coronavirus crisis of 2020. We invite someone to give us their 5 albums that are their go to’s; their “stranded on desert island” albums; the ones that they know all the songs, all the lyrics. And we talk about what’s so special about them. And we invite others to listen to them. We suggest a deep cut from the album. We find their most embarrassing album buy. You listen on your own time.
In the spirit of social distancing, all voices are recorded independently, in their own homes.

During the recording of our latest episode, our guest Jennifer Engbrecht, told us how as a music teacher she taught outside, in the winter, in Manitoba for 120 days! We felt that it was important for people to hear her story so we offer this as an out-take from the regular, album-oriented podcast.
