Music for the quarantined soul
A podcast hosted by Clifton Flett and Cam Bennet, 2 music aficionados from Dauphin, Manitoba. This was born out of the Coronavirus crisis of 2020. We invite someone to give us their 5 albums that are their go to’s; their “stranded on desert island” albums; the ones that they know all the songs, all the lyrics. And we talk about what’s so special about them. And we invite others to listen to them. We suggest a deep cut from the album. We find their most embarrassing album buy. You listen on your own time.
In the spirit of social distancing, all voices are recorded independently, in their own homes.

This episode, Cam and Clifton invite local music aficionado Carter to discuss his 5 albums:
Carter gets the guys interested in Butch Walker, how did they miss out on this guy? Plus Carter finds out that Cam is a closet ska fan, and Cam talks about francophone band Me, Mom and Morgentaler. Carter's embarrassing pick turns pretty dark pretty quick. Carter is also a fellow podcaster, you should check out his podcast Here Comes some Wisdom. Here is episode 7!
