Music for the quarantined soul
A podcast hosted by Clifton Flett and Cam Bennet, 2 music aficionados from Dauphin, Manitoba. This was born out of the Coronavirus crisis of 2020. We invite someone to give us their 5 albums that are their go to’s; their “stranded on desert island” albums; the ones that they know all the songs, all the lyrics. And we talk about what’s so special about them. And we invite others to listen to them. We suggest a deep cut from the album. We find their most embarrassing album buy. You listen on your own time.
In the spirit of social distancing, all voices are recorded independently, in their own homes.

For this episode, Clifton convinced Cam to release his Quarantine 5. So after much deliberation here it is. Joining us this episode as a guest co-host is Cam's son Tanner, a musician and music fan of his own.
Cam's 5 albums are
Cam's most embarrassing pick is Flock of Seagulls third album - "Listen" In a new segment, Cam recommends some new music: Bruce Springsteen's "Letter to You" , The Sheepdogs "Changing Colours" . Other bands he suggests are Magpie Salute, The Haggis Horns, California Honeydrops and Galactic
Most Embarrassing - its so bad its not even on Spotify!
Flock of Seagulls - Listen Ever wonder what it looks like behind the scenes? Here's the raw video Zoom call when the guys recorded their latest episode.
This episode came together because Cam and their guest Steve can't make up their minds. Cam was putting together his quarantine 5 and could not pick between 3 Hip albums. Steve was in a similar boat so , following the 'no real rules" thinking they decided to do an episode on the first 5 Tragically Hip albums. Plans are in place for future Hip episodes for other albums. So find some headphones and check out the guys discussing
